so.. You say ...You are in Love..??

There was a boy and he was madly in love with a girl.He was obsessed with her charms but could not communicate his feelings to her, till some point of time he presented himself as a reticent admirer and then one fine day he mustered enough of audacity to walk up to the girl and voice his feelings for her. The girl seemed unmoved and asked him to prove his affection by giving her a red rose : a "red " rose. The boy happily engaged himself in the search for a red rose, but after a long and exhaustive search what he found was utter disappointment since he could not find one .

It was a hot summer day, he sat below a shady tree and kept on lamenting till he was about to burst out into tears. He could not help crying and really cried buckets of water. All this was being observed by a Bulbul (a bird.. that everyone knows..) ; she felt sympathetic towards the lover and told him not to cry . She promised him that she would get him the gift for his love:the RED ROSE. After some search she found a beautifully blossomed rose that it was not RED , it was WHITE suggesting nothing but it's pristine existence. Purposely Bulbul clung herself to the thorny shrub and started singing a love song while she beat her breast against the thorns.Blood kept oozing out and miraculously the flower showed up as red. Bulbul died as she had shed even the last drop of her blood for the sacred cause:LOVE

The boy felt sorry and sighed for the bird and on a desperate and thankful note he plucked the gift of love from the thorny shrub and went straight to his girl and presented her the RED ROSE.The girl gave a sarcastic smile and said " I expected something more valuable, you could have bought me a diamond ring, what would I do with this flower ? ". The boy could not say anything, his heart was broken . He shook his head in despair and threw the RED ROSE in the dust.
