Did the word " Elite " come into existence because of the inevitable reality of the underlying phenomena...? or Did it come into existence because of the obvious and routine etymological evolution through centuries ...?
Which among the two : homogeneity or heterogeneity is the outcome of natural selection...?...What is more perplexing is that how either can be quoted to facilitate the convergence of the idea of the "ELITE".In the concept of homogeneity, elitism can be construed as a crystallized cross section that forms the suburbs of the homogeneous group ; has independent and exclusive existence without contaminating the very idea. On the other hand heterogeneity as a concept has its identity because the elite class happens to be a minority: that could also be interpreted as just an aberration ,or else the word could have risen out of no where
While these two idea consume the metaphysics of the notion both exclusively and exhaustively, the veracity of substantial existence of ELITISM could still not be figured out.
How "dominance" could be associated with the elitists when their existence in the continuum could not be made predominantly visible.
Dominance should seen as a synonym of majority act or phenomena and never be taken as intimidation produced by self coveted hegemonic presence of some exception . Somebody has well said "Exception don't make the rules".
